
It’s internship and scholarship season for college journalists. Here are two opportunities for students interested in editing:
ACES: The Society for Editing offers six scholarships each year. They range from $3,500 to $1,500. Juniors, seniors and graduate students are eligible. The application deadline is Nov. 15. More details are available at the ACES site.
The Dow Jones News Fund offers numerous paid internships for summer 2022, including in the area of multiplatform editing. Sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students are eligible. In past summers, interns have worked for news organizations such as The New York Times, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Houston Chronicle. The application deadline is Nov. 5.
